The Kankakee County GIS Department has developed several tools related to redistricting to assist policymakers and the general public.


Kankakee County Board Districts (K3GIS)

This application can be used to visualize and compare current County Board districts and the redistricting plan based on the 2010 Census approved by the Kankakee County Board.
Kankakee County Census Data Viewer (K3GIS)

This application can be used to visualize 2000 and 2010 Census data at a variety of different levels across Kankakee County.
Kankakee County Board District Editor (K3GIS)

This application allows users to obtain demographic information about current Kankakee County Board districts, as well as obtain demographic information for user-created or user-modified County Board districts. RECOMMENDED BROWSERS: Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Explorer 9 are highly recommended for the use of this application. Drawing and changing boundaries in versions of Internet Explorer prior to 9 can be slow.
Current & Proposed Illinois State Legislative Districts (K3GIS)

Users can compare current state legislative districts with those submitted by the General Assembly to the Governor on May 27, 2011.
Proposed Illinois State Legislative Districts Map (Chicago Tribune)

Users can access demographic data for the legislative districts submitted by the General Assembly to the Governor on May 27, 2011.
